Churches in America are filled with people who attempt to withhold believers, or people trying to be believers, from obtaining salvation. That is only possible if the individual allows it so to be [Luke 12:4,5, III John 9-11, Matthew 23]. For the truth of this matter, go to 'Absolution by Man'.
The presumption that man can give or deny absolution is rebellion against God and His precepts, aligning oneself with God and is a type of witchcraft [Luke 9:51-56, Matthew 20:20-23, Numbers 20:7-12, Deuteronomy 32:51 > I Samuel 15:23]. The idea of absolution or denial of absolution by man is also antiChrist. AntiChrist means not only against Christ, but instead of Christ.Churches in America are filled with people who attempt to withhold believers, or people trying to be believers, from obtaining salvation. THE CHURCH A.D.

WHAT IS THE CHURCH?

Is it the beautiful, stained glass, steeple topped building? Jesus said that man made things are subject to destruction, including the church houses (Luke 21:6). But He also said that the gates of hell would not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18). And since the devil is on earth to destroy (John 10:10), that would be like the gates of hell prevailing against the Church, would it not? And if Jesus is God incarnate, who is true (John 3:33) and does not cause confusion with believers, (I Corinthians 14:33, what is the Church?
We are to gather with other believers (Hebrews 10:25), and Jesus said that He will be in the midst of a gathering in His name (Matthew 18:20), in the person of the Holy Spirit (John 15:26, 14:26), We gather to worship God (John 4:24) and to pray (Matthew 18:19), which is a sacrifice (Romans 12:1).
Christ is the head of the Church (Ephesians 5:23), which is His body. Not his physical body, but rather, you could say, his spiritual body, or to put it better, His figurative body, the body, or group, of believers, world wide (Hebrews 12:23, II Corinthians 5:1, Ephesians 4:5, I Corinthians 12:27).
If Church is the believers and the purpose is to worship God, when did the church originally start? Well, one of the first known examples is of Abel offering his best livestock to the Maker (Genesis 4:4). Jacob found the Lord out in the middle of nowhere or, rather, the Lord found him (Genesis 28:10, 16-22). At that time Jacob set up what was likely the first altar, vowed a vow to God, and called it God's house, which was simply a couple of stones, but a place to worship God. The actual building and it's decor is not important. What is important is the state of mind and heart of each individual (John 4:21-24; Proverbs 1:23; Matthew 18:20; I John 4:1-3; Romans 10:9-11; Hebrews 10:24,25).

I am  a sinful human being [born of a sinful nature, as is all mankind except Christ],  who has been converted [born again]  by the grace of Christ [Romans 3:9, 3:23, 5:12, 6:17, 7:17, Philippians 3:10-15, Leviticus 5:17, I Corinthians 9:27, 2:13-15, Romans 7:14-25, 6:1-18]. When any of us teach another person something, we are also teaching ourselves [Romans 2:21]. No matter how much we read or hear, it is only when the Holy Ghost reveals a thing to us that we really learn something from scripture [John 14:26, I John 2:27].
