                                  A Better, Modern World?

     I sometimes wake up, with a feeling of abhorrence at being alive in what to me is an unbelieving, deceived, unseemly, wicked and vile world, as a whole. Our religious leaders and other positive thinkers keep telling us that our economy is doing fine, but if not that it'll be okay even if we do nothing at all and that we, as humans, have evolved into something better than our ancestors were, and that the world to come, the perfect kingdom, that one everybody is hoping for, the manifestation of their inspired vision, is within our grasp. After all, the master has told us so. So why am I filled with unbelief at their claims?
     We live in the midst of scores of people, a powerful majority, or a seeming majority, which tries to tell us, both through their words and actions, that God and the Bible are old fashioned and out of date, no longer valid, needed or useful in their original form and function, in such a modern, intelligent and perceptive world, such as has been created by the truly learned. So how could a handful of foolish people be right, and why do we keep reading an "old, dead letter", proclaiming such an irrelevant precept, that is, the original meaning, refusing to believe those who knowingly and gently encourage us to realize that as the world changes, so does the Master's expectations and ways? Why do we the minority just not believe them who show us multitudes of reasons why they have to be right?
     These things we are being told, which are "time honored", going back at least forty years, which the wise and studied assert is a sufficiently long time frame from which to learn, seeing as how we have learned so much during those past four decades, attested to by the rapid advances in technology, medicine and other areas of higher learning. Yet a stubborn few claim that the edicts, programs and protocols which attempt to institute those better world beliefs are doing nothing more than covertly corralling the masses into either believing them, or at least acting as though they believe them, as some choose to be left behind by a cleaner, futuristic dream of an ideal world. Our respected leaders know in themselves, with a deep and firm, heartfelt conviction that we need to trust them if we are to survive, thrive and create an ideal new world.
     But in spite of all of the cries of the ordained, there remain a disagreeable few, deceivers, who are in opposition to what they believe are pipe dreams built on what those dissenting few, apparently lunatics, call a shaky foundation, telling any who are desperate enough to listen, that they should clutch the ways of the old "patriarchs", for fear of reprisal by a God who doesn't honor newer ways, going as far as to claim that this God would actually punish people for abiding by ways that are "too new". After all, as long as someone means well, isn't it just the thought that counts?
     The whole scenario is similar to a recent, passive attempt of a "reincarnation" of a previous master's dream, where everyone is equal, where no biases and prejudices are in existence, where everyone has their focus on a higher power, a world in which the efforts and labors of all are concentrated and expended not for self primarily, but to help others, utilizing all means and effort available. This is an envisioned world in which not a soul has need of anything, because all needs are met and there are no complaints from any of this new world's citizens, a perfect world comprised of citizens from all around the world, living in harmony with each other, all differences passed away, forgotten, overlooked. So why, when I, who wake up considering the world detestable, after differing with the educated and wise, become an enemy? What is wrong with me?
     In this proposed, ideal society, nobody worries about owning any possessions, or about striving to excel, or even about the future or careers of self or children, because the master has it all planned out for them, and most everybody is in complete agreement and unison, because they have seen their previous errors, and realize that the old values were largely inept. Looking upon this projected new world, they comprehend that all people are the same, no quarrels, no differences of opinion, no superiority of one person over another. There are even men who seem to the population to be as angels, being guardians of the sheep and dispelling any thoughts of rebellious or unruly behavior. So why continue resisting, and selfishly striving to maintain my own right and way, taking a chance on offending others by being different, perhaps even faring better than others? How can any of us dare to esteem ourselves to such a value as to even dream of achieving more than our fellow brothers and sisters, slighting them?
     It must be right, it has to be right, because even the majority of the beloved new world's ministers have consented to the ideals of the all knowing one. Why can't a few of us isolated and deceived subjects come to grips with the folks who have studied and labored for years, being schooled by the wisest, in order that all may benefit? Are we doomed to repeat the mistakes of our ancestors, who also resisted, seemingly in vain? We should believe those who know the truth, say they, and learn from what the master attempted to do for his people, his servants giving it their all.
     We should know truth from falsehood, and be aware of what this previous master envisioned, what his ministers truly implemented, and exactly what it all actually meant.
     The master (different from the Master) to whom I am referring is Adolph Hitler, who envisioned giving it their all for the Third Reich, a new world order where everyone is in agreement, because all dissenters were to be murdered, put out of action by his "angelic-like" servants, the Brown Shirts, the new world order idea consented to by 14,000 "Christian" ministers, out of a total of 19,000. How could a majority be wrong?
     In case you haven't guessed it by now, this short article is a paradox. It is a writing which appears, at first glance, to be completely true but is, in fact, a set of true statements describing something which is very insidious, which twists the truth in order to promulgate a huge agenda which is falsehood, and evil, but presented in such a way as to appear to be the truth and the right way. This is written in order to enable the born again reader to discern the Spirit of Truth [the Holy Ghost or Spirit], from the spirit of error.

Remember that the Old Testament still applies in many ways. Things that happened in the Old Testament era happened more physically, though also spiritually. In this age of grace, the things from the Old Testament happen spiritually, as spiritual laws do not change, as God does not change. However, things from the Old Testament still happen physically at times, and there are yet some prophecies to unfold, in a physical manner, which have not been fulfilled to date.
