ANCIENT PLACES OF THE BIBLE

THIS IS A SERIES OF DOCUMENTARIES ON PLACES THAT WERE PRESENT IN BIBLICAL TIMES, MANY OF WHICH ARE STILL PRESENT YET TODAY. THERE ARE MANY, ANCIENT SECULAR ACCOUNTS OF EVENTS RECORDED IN THE BIBLE, HELPING TO VERIFY THE HISTORICAL AUTHENTICITY AND ACCURACY OF DESCRIPTIONS OF THOSE EVENTS TOLD OF IN THE BIBLE.

MESOPOTAMIA, THE BEGINNING OF CIVILIZATIONS.

There was a place named Babylon. There is now a place labeled as Babylon, the spiritual Babylon, foretold of in the Bible.

I love what my country was meant to be. But America has become something vastly different than what it was meant to be and once was. Could the Babylon of the end times be America? I think it's going to be Saudi Arabia, actually, but it could well be sponsored by America. If it is partially or fully America, could it be a different country if America repents and returns to Yeshua? Well, Nineveh was due to be destroyed, but was spared because they repented.

Even if America is not the spiritual Babylon mentioned in the Bible, it is just about as bad.

All I can say is, we who believe need to strive to enter in at the strait gate. I will post a video of why Babylon may be Saudi Arabia soon as I get to it.

Most Bible scholars will say the United States is not to be found in Bible Prophecy. That is as far from the truth as possible. The United States may be in center stage in Bible prophecy. Bible Prophecy is a warning message from God. Every American should be interested in hearing what God has to say about the US. "The United States In Bible Prophecy" is a study of 30 biblical texts that reveal the identity of Babylon of Revelation 17 and 18. This video further shows how the United States has fulfilled all these descriptions, at this point in time. I don't know that America is the spiritual Babylon mentioned in Revelation, but it has filled the bill in many ways, at least. I do believe that the root of Babylon will be Islam, as shown in the video below:

I think it's possible that Islam will take America over, and that would help fulfil that foretelling. Again, I don't know for sure.

MODERN BABYLON

I think this is another close and accurate interpretation of prophecy. It is hard for even God's prophets to be 100% accurate, but we can judge a work though the discernment given by the Holy Ghost, and by examining prophecies which have already been fulfilled. It often takes certain prophecies to be fulfilled in order to correctly judge a preceding interpretation. Often we must take parts of several different interpretations and put them together to gain a clearer understanding. Could a different nation become the modern Babylon? I do not know. I do know, however, that God, after having pronounced destruction upon Nineveh, spared it after they repented [Job], and spared the Israelites after Moses talked with God about it [Exodus 22:1-14]. God would have spared Sodom and Gomorrah, but they would not repent, not even ten of them [Exodus 18:20--33, 19:24,25, 28,29].
