                              Miscellaneous II

God works in some strange ways. Just today, I was looking for a phone number of a friend, and couldn't find it. As always, I say a short prayer, in this case to help me find the number I had written down on a piece of paper. I couldn't find it, so I called his house, and his wife gave me his cell phone number. He lives near me, so I don't call him all the time. A while later, I put my Bible on top of another book on my desk, and it fell of the desk. I caught it before it hit the floor, and a piece of paper fell out, with his number on it. Now sometimes, that is just chance. But when God answers a prayer, the Holy Ghost lets you know it is an answered prayer. God often answers prayer out of mishaps, whether small or great. He also impressed upon my mind to have a little more patience.

FAITH VS. WORKS OF THE LAW

God and Christ expect and require believers to do good and refrain from evil. But it is not works that save us.
Faith is like a father saying that at a certain point in time, you will receive the inheritance. Until that time, we must do things for him, whenever he asks or says. Sometimes there will be much and other times we will get a respite. He also wants us to do good as we have opportunity. That is faith.
Works would be doing for our father what we want to do for him, or doing what he wants but our way instead of his way, and only doing "for him", not for others. Works is thinking we're in our father's good graces for doing things our way, instead of his way.

          MISCELLANOUS BIBLICAL INFORMATION
Though this page comprises a variety of Biblical information, one of the main themes of every believer in Jesus Christ needs to be
SUPPORT ISRAEL
We stand with Pastor John Hagee in supporting Israel-Genesis 12:3, Romans 2:28,29

I HAVE TWO IMPORTANT QUESTIONS: DO YOU WANT TO LEARN WHAT THE BIBLE MEANS? DO YOU WANT TO WIN OTHERS TO CHRIST? HERE ARE TWO OF WHAT I CONSIDER TO BE THE MOST IMPORTANT TIPS I CAN GIVE TO OTHER BELIEVERS. IF YOU WANT TO TRULY LEARN WHAT SCRIPTURE MEANS, GET YOU A BIBLE CONCORDANCE/DICTIONARY WITH THE GREEK AND HEBREW TRANSLATION FOR KEY WORDS. MANY, MANY VERSES ARE NOT CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD AND ARE THEREFORE MISUSED FOR TWO REASONS: THE KEY WORD(S) ARE MISUNDERSTOOD, AND SOME PEOPLE HAVE THE WRONG SPIRIT AND SO MISUSE VERSES. AS AN EXAMPLE AND TO ANSWER MY SECOND QUESTION, THE PHARISEES ORDERED THE APOSTLES TO NO LONGER PREACH AND TEACH IN THE NAME OF JESUS OF NAZARETH, TO WHICH THE APOSTLES RESPONDED BY SAYING "WE OUGHT TO OBEY GOD RATHER THAN MEN" [ACTS 4:18-21 AND 5:29]. THOSE WITH BAD HEARTS WILL SAY "YES, YOU OUGHT TO, YOU SHOULD...". THEY ARE WRONG. THE GREEK [ORIGINAL] WORD FOR OUGHT IN THAT CONTEXT IS DEI, MEANING "MUST DO", "IT IS NECESSARY", AND "BEHOVED IT". THE OTHER WORD WHICH COULD ALSO FIT IS OPHEILO, MEANING "TO OWE". OBEYING GOD IS NOT AN OPTION.

Atheists are frauds. They keep denying the existence of God. But if they really didn't believe in a higher power, God, why would they think it necessary to keep asserting that. I mean, like, if I don't have a toothache, why would I go out and keep telling everybody that I don't have a toothache?

Ever encounter someone who seems to be able to read your mind? Some prophets are able to repeat something that someone said or decipher something that they have thought. But a prophet of God will do only as the Lord directs in order to glorify God and/or Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, rather than for a self serving reason or to glorify an earthly cause or organization. There are wicked people who may be mistaken for a prophet of God,having the spirit of divination, which is of the devil: Ezekiel 28:2-10.

Atheists only truly exist in each alleged atheist's mind [Romans 1:20], because, amongst other reasons, there are a lot of very intelligent and moral alleged atheists in the world [Psalm 14:1].

Some of the most brilliant people in the world assert that the soul of the human being cannot live on forever, in either heaven or hell. However, the "law of conservation of energy" states that: Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it may be transformed from one form into another, but the total amount of energy never changes". The entire universe and everything in it is made up of matter and energy. These two things the scientists are completely sure of. Therefore, the human being cannot fail to live on somewhere after death. The glitch in the theorem is, since humans and animals multiply, both energy and matter also multiply, which gives credence to the Biblical fact that God gives life, that is, that He breathes life into man [Genesis 2:7]. But if you want to take that theorem literally, then that could account for both energy and matter, especially energy, being taken out of parents as they have and raise children, counting on God having only created so much matter and energy. And so, as man and animals multiply, matter and energy are depleted as man and animals consume. That is, it appears to deplete, but is actually only being transformed into a different form of energy.

So now, in this modern day and age, many seem to think that modern intelligence either doesn't need God, or that the Bible is not true. It's been some time, but not too long ago, NASA inadvertently proved a major event in the Bible is true: the sun standing still for nearly a day [Joshua 10:13], and the sun going backwards 10 degrees [Isaiah 38:8]. Here is one of many articles [using the keywords : "scientific proof the sun stood still for a day in the Bible":http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_nasa_missing_day.htm

An excellent sermon by James Robison on why the church in America is so divided: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=qYHDilMaBTo

Many preachers today believe that science overrides scripture. In reality, true science is in line with scripture. The theory of evolution is not actually in line with true science.
Amongst those kinds of preachers, many teach that a loving God would not send people to hell, so therefore, there is no hell, though scripture, and Jesus himself, had more to say about hell than about heaven.
According to both scripture and science, it is impossible that there couldn't be a hell. According to Newton's third law, a well established and accepted, scientific fact, "to every action there is an opposite and equal reaction". Therefore, even according to science, if there is a heaven, there has to be a hell.

America's current administration has implemented many policies which mandate certain things. They haven't actually said they would physically force them upon us. Yet, if we do not accept those things, such as the healthcare mandate, we receive penalties. What are these policies like?      Scriptural evidence that the Almighty always made provision for the Gentiles to have a right relationship with Him-II Chronicles 6:32,33.

For science buffs who don't think that the world will continue to get worse and worse, without relying upon God Almighty, here's a scientific fact that says it will. The second Law of Thermodynamics can be stated as such: "In natural processes, high-quality energy tends to transform into lower-quality energy-order tends to disorder".
The primary definition of the second Law of Thermodynamics is: "Heat never spontaneously flows from a cold substance to a hot substance". Duh, right? Well, further, "heat can be made to flow the other way only when "work" is done on the system or by adding energy from another source.
This means that miracles described in the Bible, such as the parting of the Red Sea, though not seemingly natural, can occur if another source [God] is seemingly disrupting natural flows or states of being, which act is provided for naturally, as stated in the second Law of Thermodynamics.
The catch-22 with miracles is, only God can perform true miracles, either directly or through a human believer appointed by Him to act in His behalf. After all, God is who created all things and set laws of nature in motion.
Furthermore, according to science, "Processes in which disorder returns to order without external help do not occur in nature".
Since the world was originally without form and void [chaotic (or in disorder) in some versions-Genesis 1:2], and God created all things and appointed a certain order to things, and since man [Adam & Eve] started the process of disorder [caused by sin], and since things have gotten more and more immoral and polluted, not being remedied by mankind's attempts, it simply follows scientific and natural laws, that only a Supreme Being can make things right again, thus the reason for Jesus Christ.
Scientifically, the concept of crime [caused by sin] could be called entropy. Entropy is "the idea of ordered energy tending to disordered energy", the measure of how energy spreads to disorder in a system [the world, men's lives, society, etc.].
Once molecules become disorganized, they do not spontaneously recombine to become organized again. When a physical system [the world and man] is allowed to spread  it's energy freely [absence of Godly restraint], it always does so in a manner such that entropy [disorder, sin] increases, while the energy of the system available for work [man's works] decreases.
None of this is to suggest that the things of God can be figured out. The highest knowledge of man is foolishness in God's eyes, but He set most things into an orderly concept [Romans 1:19,20, I Corinthians 1:19-21,25, 2:5,6].

     GREATLY DELAYED RAPTURE?

There are people who try to refute that the rapture or end times could happen anytime soon, by referring to the scriptures wherein God promised Abraham that the Jews would be as numerous as the stars of the heavens and as the sand of the sea. Since they do not number that many yet, including every Jew [or Christians that have ever been, looking at it spiritually] that has ever been in existence.
However, without looking up all of those scriptures at the moment, I don't think that's what God means. It is not physically feasible to think that there will ever have been that many people on earth, let alone Christians, that they cannot be numbered, seeing as how numbers are infinite.
However, it is impossible to count either all of the total Jews, or the total number of Christians, due to one of a number of reasons.
It is impossible now to count every Jew that has ever been. Remember that the Jews have been able to count their lineage all the way back to Abraham. Nonetheless, since the Jews have been scattered, it is now impossible for even the Jews to number all of their people.
It is also impossible to number every Christian that has ever been. One reason is that nobody knows who all has been converted over the ages, amongst other reasons.
Therefore, that is not a valid argument for considering that the rapture could be many, many years away, as in a few thousand.
However exactly the rapture [parousia] happens, as well as precisely when, could be up to some questions, as it is not a main focus and not a great deal is written about it.
We do know that it will happen, and as more and more prophecy is being fulfilled, it likely won't be more than a hundred years off.
The thing to remember is, we need to keep ourselves true day by day. If we die tomorrow, that is the end of this world for us.

It's amazing how the Lord often answers questions we've had. Often it's through other believers.
I've been asked how Moses, Jesus and Elijah could fast for forty days. Jesus did drink water, though not Moses, and off the top of my head I think not Elijah.
How could this be, especially without water? Forty days with water I can partly understand, but without water I never knew. Here is a lesson which clarifies how this was done, as well as timely tips for when we fast:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn1vqAKUL0E.
Fasting does amazing things for us when we do it in the right spirit [Isaiah 58:3-12]. Generally, when you get hungry, drink water, and pray, but this just partially abstaining helps as well.

Here are some websites that expose some very huge and very deceptive false doctrines, such as the "name it & claim it" crowd, one of many doctrines of carnality and satan.
I'm not saying that God doesn't bless some of His people with more money, in order that they might have more to give to the ministry work, nor am I saying that you have to be dirt poor to be true to God. I also am not saying that the name it & claim it ministers are of satan.
Some of that doctrine, however, is propagated by either carnal thinking or the devil himself. It is full of many errors, and the devil is effective in deceiving even the elect.

"PERVERSE DISPUTINGS OF MEN OF CORRUPT MINDS, AND DESTITUTE OF THE TRUTH, SUPPOSING THAT GAIN IS GODLINESS: FROM SUCH WITHDRAW THYSELF"-I Timothy 6:5, describes the health and wealth crowd. Hebrews chapter 11 is one refutation of their doctrine as well. "BUT THERE WERE FALSE PROPHETS ALSO AMONG THE PEOPLE, EVEN AS THERE SHALL BE FALSE TEACHERS AMONG YOU, WHO PRIVILY SHALL BRING IN DAMNABLE HERESIES...AND BRING UPON THEMSELVES SWIFT DESTRUCTION. AND MANY SHALL FOLLOW THEIR PERNICIOUS WAYS; BY REASON OF WHOM THE TRUTH SHALL BE EVIL SPOKEN OF"-II Peter 2:2.
     See Deuteronomy 8:2-6, 11-20, Philippians 4:11,12,17, v.5,19, Hebrews 11, Luke 12:16-20, I Corinthians 3:10-15, Mark 13:20-22].

There are people who think that there is no such thing as an eternal soul in a human being. Yet, even science supports the intangible fact that there is.
We are made up of matter, which has energy. According to the Law of Conservation of Energy, "energy cannot be created or destroyed; it may be transformed from one form into another, but the total amount of energy never changes".

TIMING OF THE RAPTURE

I've thought for a long time that the rapture will be either pre or mid tribulation, but have also always allowed for the possibility that it will be post tribulation. The following video is the most scripturally sensible, feasible and I believe accurate revealing of what time frame the rapture will be in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5u_NcXI96Dw

Every Christian believer should have discernment. There is also a spiritual gift, discerning of spirits, which is different than normal discernment, and far different than the "sixth sense".
Every person has a body, soul and spirit, the words soul and spirit often being used interchangeably. But one is eternal, the other is something that animals have also. Every person, and even organizations, has a certain spirit about them.
People often get different spirits confused. Some will call the spirit an aura, but it is a spirit. Muslims have a different spirit than what is the Holy Spirit. People can have a gentle spirit, a reckless spirit, a reserved spirit, an outgoing spirit, a nervous spirit and so on.
One of the worst mistakes people make is relating the Holy Spirit to the spirit that drives government people. For example, the spirit that drives police officers is not the Holy Spirit, but rather it is more in line with the spirit of Judaism, which is where our ethical laws are derived from. That is not to say that that some police officers and other government people are not Christian, because some are, more than we tend to think at times.
FBI and CIA people each tend to have the spirit that drives their organization, and other government and civilian organizations have spirits that drive them. That doesn't mean that each respective spirit necessarily indwells each person of that organization. Rather it is usually upon them.
It is important to distinguish between different spirits, and is particularly important to discern the bidding of the Holy Ghost and God's voice. When God speaks to us, His words are often as clear as if spoken verbally, though they usually are not. So remember, the devil and his evil spirits are also all around us and even above us in the firmament, the "heavens", though not in the heaven where God resides.
Failure to properly understand the different workings of different spirits and authorities is why it is sometimes difficult to determine whether a person who is morally sound, and believes in a Supreme Being of some type, is actually a born again believer, unless you talk with them [I John 4:1-3].
[I will list scripture references shortly.]

False Doctrines About Rapture and satan

One of the most damaging doctrines to Christianity these days is the hidden rapture theory. When Jesus Christ returns, the Bible says "Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they which pierced Him" [Revelation 1:7], and "...this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen Him go into heaven" [Acts 1:11]. These two verses are linked with I Thessalonians 4:17, where it says that "...the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air...".
It is evident from these verses that everyone will know what is happening. We who believe will go to heaven to be with the Lord, but the unbelievers, remaining on earth, will also know exactly what is going on. There is no such thing as a secret rapture. The movies which portray that are completely leaving out Biblical doctrine on this issue, or event.
There is debate on whether or not the rapture is part of the second coming. I believe that the rapture is an event before the second coming, because if Jesus doesn't set foot on earth, then it is not the second coming.
The actual second "coming" is described in Zechariah 14:3,4, when Christ does set foot on the Mount of Olives, and stops the final battle of Armageddon.
Another of the most damaging doctrines to Christianity is the portrayal of an antiChrist person being killed, and the devil bringing him back to life. It says in Revelation 13:3,14 says that the beast had a wound to death, by a sword, and the deadly wound was healed.
The evil people in Daniel are all killed, except for the king towards the end of Daniel chapter 11, but he is come to an end, and none will help him [Daniel 11:36-45]. The Messiah the Prince spoken of in Daniel chapter 9 is Jesus Christ.
Firstly, it does not state that the beast is killed, only that it receives a wound to, or towards, death. According to Pastor Doug Batchelor, that beast is not a person at all, but rather a corrupt system, in this case the papacy [see 666truth.org]. There are two beasts, and the second beast is the organized Protestant church mingled with the worldly system. This is according to Doug Batchelor and it makes scriptural sense to me. We are seeing more and more churches embracing paganism, and the Catholic church, already full of pagan doctrine, is demanding that Protestant churches merge with them. I also agree with Pastor Batchelor that there are many, truly saved folks in the Catholic church, including some of the popes.
There are true believers in both the Catholic and Protestant churches, but both systems have been adopting and embracing more and more pagan teachings.
Secondly, and I've thought this for years, the devil does not have the power to give life or to heal, only to kill, steal and destroy [John 10:10]. The miracles the beast does in Revelation chapter 13 will be technological and perhaps psychological feats, which fool people into thinking they are miracles, but are not miracles at all. When medicine and other technology save a life, that is derived from wisdom, and is human endeavor, not a miracle, though the knowledge may come from God.
The books and movies that attribute Godly, supernatural events to the devil are entirely unBiblical and deceive multitudes. In turn, those multitudes start thinking and belieiving that God's miracles are of the devil, thus blasphemy of the Holy Ghost, which results in eternal damnation.
Some of the theologians and writers claim that God somehow works things differently concerning supernatural power, during the end times. However, that explicitly contradicts scripture and there is no Biblical basis for such ideas.
The only difference during the end times as to how God works things as compared to all other ages, is that during the end times He pours out all of His wrath at once on the unbelieving world. The same plagues found in the book of Revelation are the same plagues that God poured out onto old Egypt, just before the Exodus of the Jews. He also plagued certain peoples with some of those same plagues during other times in history.
Neither God nor Jesus change, nor do their attributes change, ever [Hebrews 13:8, Isaiah 42:8].
The modern day church, to a large extent, has become more of a corporate, religious, office environment, and many want nothing to do with the Holy Ghost, thus Jesus Christ. The churches need to repent and get back to God.
[I came to light on the fallacy of the hidden rapture while listening to Pastor Perry Stone and another excellent preacher, who I will name when I recall his name (computer crashes tend to lose data)].

    KEEP SILENCE?

There are those who try to silence Christians by misinterpreting scripture, one of which is found at I Thessalonians 4:11, "And that you study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands".
The word quiet in this context means calm; to make secure by freeing from dispute or question.
Jesus commands us to spread His Word everywhere, endeavoring to convert people to His way [Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19,20, Romans 8:15, Galatians 6:1, 5:1, Hebrews 2:15].
We are to help others escape the snare of the devil [Luke 6:31, II Timothy 2:24-26], knowing that helping others opens the door for other believers to help us when we need it [Galatians 6:6-9, Obadiah 15, Hosea 10:12,13, Ezekiel 35:15].

GOD ON EARTH?

It is popular among churches to teach that Jesus Christ was God on earth. Though Jesus was and is divine, it is not quite accurate to say that Jesus Christ was God on earth, though He was the representative of God's true doctrines, and was and is God's only Son.
Jesus had the fulness of the Holy Ghost, meaning unlimited power from it [John 3:34,35]. However, Jesus could not do just anything He wanted to do, though always good. He was always subject to the Father [John 5:19,22,30,31, I Corinthians 15:28, Hebrews 2:7-18, Philippians 2:5-11, Matthew 8:28,29], and still is.
Jesus was and is a part of the Godhead, and has always been [Hebrews 1:2], but when He was on earth He was the Son of God, not God Himself, a  such. He came as a servant of God [Philippians 2:7].

I use to use an excuse to drink, saying that Jesus turned water into wine, which He did. However, the wine that He made was not fermented. It was new wine, meaning unfermented. Wine must sit for awhile in order to become fermented. There is also a spiritual meaning in that the new wine is unfermented. I'll not discuss the right or wrong of drinking, only to say that we are definitely not to get drunk, which I take to mean impaired at all.
Realistically, we just don't need it. If you consume, it's a good idea to use it moderately, and be sure to not offend Christ by offending a brethren. Those who take the vow of a Nazarite are to refrain from it.
I learned about the new wine from a lesson by Pastor Doug Batchelor.

TRYING THE SPIRITS

Although I John 4:1-3 is one way in which to try someone's spirit, as to whether or not they have the Holy Spirit dwelling within,  it is not, by itself, a determine all. If the person doing the testing is not of the right spirit, for example an unbeliever or a believer testing the spirit with the wrong intention, then the test will likely have a false false. God's Word is extremely powerful, but when misused, it returns unexpected results, turning against the one misusing it, and the total thing is a failure. Such was the case with the sons of Sceva, unsaved people who were trying to cast out demons by Jesus' name [Acts 19:13-16], and a sorcerer named Simon, who wanted God'd power in exchange for money, which is nearly blasphemy of the Holy Ghost, but apparently not quite, because after being struck blind for a season, Simon was able to repent [Acts 8:9-24].  The act of offering money for the Holy Ghost was after Simon had believed and been baptized.
Now if an unsaved person or a believer with the wrong intentions tests someone's spirit, it is likely fitting if the person says no, because the test is not being done in the right spirit to begin with. It would be something like an active criminal impersonating a judge or a cop. Just ain't right at all.
It is also possible that the test, even if done by a believer in the right spirit, is done on a person when they are down in a valley, and when the Holy Ghost has been letting them walk entirely on their own. Something like when a couple, even with a good marriage, have hurt one another's feelings, maybe not on purpose, and are angry at one another; someone says, do you love your spouse and the spouse says no. Well, in reality the spouse really does, but because of being hurt and angry, they may just be saying that or they may wonder if they still do or not.
Another possibility is that the person being tested perceives it's a test, and may just say no to see what the person testing will do. or they might say no because they perceive that the person doing the test is not quite of the right spirit.
And, a lot of sincere Christians have their moments and their times when they may be afar off. So, it's like, if a person fails the test, simply repent and ask God for guidance and redemption, or whatever the problem may be. And any person who tests someone and then just skates off without helping a person who failed the test, has a problem themself.
Love thy neighbor as thyself, whether you like them or not. You can love but not like. Christian love is outlined in I Corinthians 13.
I know that I am converted to Jesus Christ, and I know that the Holy Ghost dwells within me, though I have never deserved His grace and never will. But every now and then, I have to examine myself to make sure I'm still right. There are millions of evil spirits, lots of bad people and multitudes of fleshly faults we have which constantly wage war against the soul. Usually, it's because God has put me into a valley and is testing me. We walk by faith, not by sight.
I have been instructed by the Holy Ghost to do some thing before, and then He just withdraws, just to see if I will obey, even in the midst of turmoil, uncertainty and even confusion. It is highly unlikely he will say to walk out in front of a truck, because that is tempting God and the Ghost, but He may well have you do some crazy things just to teach and test you.
He has told me to go tell some person about Jesus, and then changed His mind at the last second. He has had me just turn around and walk in the opposite direction for a minute or a while, or a few steps, then turn around again, just to either test or teach me. There have also been times when I was that way due to a spirit of confusion. The Holy Ghost will teach you if you'll let Him.
One of the worst things is when you go to pray for a healing for someone, and after praying, they say something like, "are you done?". Sometimes we get carnal. Sometimes even when in the right spirit and obeying, it's still a flop. Sometimes the fruit shows later, though we may get yelled at or laughed at. Get the Holy Ghost, obey it, and love it.
BE FOREWARNED: SOMETIMES THE LORD WILL SEND YOU TO SOMETHING KNOWING YOU WILL FAIL OR GOOD IT UP, JUST TO TEACH YOU HUMILITY. ALSO, SOONER OR LATER, YOU WILL RUN INTO AN EVIL UNBELIEVER, NOT JUST AN UNBELIEVER BUT AN EVIL ONE, MAYBE A FORMER BELIEVER, WHO WILL MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A COMPLETE AND UTTER FOOL OR LOST SOUL. IT HAPPENED TO THE APOSTLES AND IT HAPPENS TO US [II TIMOTHY 4:14,15, LUKE 22:54-62, EZEKIEL 28:2-10]. SO BE IT. ASK GOD FOR HELP AND BE THANKFUL FOR HUMILITY.

Psychological warfare is human instruction for waging spiritual warfare against God Almighty and His people, for satan, and sometimes against evil people, for that matter. It comes in many forms. Much of American psychology is to blame, which is antiChrist, anti meaning against or insyead of. Not all psychology is evil, however, but much of it is, and especially when orchestrated in the form of psychological warfare.

Some people wonder how a just God could let so many bad things happen on earth. This short explanation, from a card by covenanthouse.org, explainms it well:
"On the street I saw a small girl cold and shivering in a thin dress, with little hope of a decent meal. I became angry and said to God: Why did you permit this? Why don't you do something about it? For a while God said nothing. That night He replied quite suddenly: 'I certainly did something about it.-I made you' "

CHURCH GOERS GOING AWRY

Why do people who regularly attend church, engage in sports and community oriented activities sometimes go out and commit crime and/or do violent or heinous acts?
Bottom line is, they are not letting the Holy Spirit guide them. Either they never had the indwelling of the Holy Ghost, or somewhere along the way they let a different spirit, or sometimes their own desires, wrest them from the guidance of the Holy Ghost.
Civilian organizations cause people to place secular activities above Jesus Christ, and elevate exceptional people in the wrong spirit. Sooner or later, it breaks apart and the person may come under such strong influence of a demonic spirit, which often appears as something good, that they cannot seem to resist, though it's usually a choice, not understanding the consequences of what they are about to do, and do bad things.
King Saul was double-minded, and eventually a bad spirit influenced him enough to where he did things his way instead of God's way. It ultimately cost him his kingdom and his life.
Though the Holy Ghost can empower a people and individuals for war, some examples present in the old testament, there is a big difference between waging war and committing crime.
The current presidential administration is trying very hard to quench all vestiges of true Christianity, and make America dependent upon the government and subservient to the government. The end result, if the trend is not reversed, will be skyrocketing crime, turmoil, riots, disorder and possibly anarchy or martial law.
There are people in government, including law enforcement, and civilian entities alike, who despise people walking in the power of the Holy Ghost, because they sense that it is a higher power than they possess. However, the only thing that a Holy Ghost filled person is a threat to is evil. Holy Ghost filled people are not coveteous, envious or filled with selfish ambition.
There will come a time soon, when the worldly powers will think that they have God Almighty beat, thinking that it will be a man made utopia on earth. Shortly after, "hell on earth" will break out [I Thessalonians 5:3, Ezekiel 13:16].
Churches who do not teach about the importance of the Holy Ghost are a major contributor to the problem of wickedness in society. We are still legally allowed to teach and preach, and it is high time that we, as a body of believers, woke up [Romans 13:11-14].
As the world gets more wicked and the churches become more slack and complacent, the Holy Ghost does not work as much. Replacing God's precepts with more laws and government control, is both a partial reason for that, as well as a result of that, the precepts of God being discarded. To prevent that, each individual believer simply needs to obey the voice of the Lord, as He, by the Holy Ghost, speaks to each heart and mind.
Also, as more people refuse to obey the Holy Ghost, more so-called believers take on a twisted view of scripture, and the wicked distort it anyway, which will allow satan to usher in his world of iniquity.
Of course we are to obey the laws of man, so long as they do not go against scripture. But let's look at one perverted version of a scripture, Hebrews 13:17. Some officials try to make this seem as though that pertains to them. It does not.
The government is not to have the rule over us, whether believers or unbelievers. They are to govern. This verse refers to pastors, preachers and such. They look after our souls, not a secular authority. People who fall for lies like that will die lost.
Note also that we do not get into God's grace by our parents' righteousness, or by anybody else's, nor are we condemned by another person's sins [Ezekiel 14:14-23 > Matthew 5:17,18, Romans 6:1-16].
     [Ezekiel 33:13-20, John 8:31].
Note: any spirit that puts itself in the place of Christ is antiChrist, anti meaning not only against, but also instead of [I John 4:1-3]. Idolatry will eventually cause the antiChrist spirit to take precedence as well.

BLASPHEMY

ANY OF YOU WHO HAVE BACKSLIDDEN AND ARE TRYING TO REGAIN A RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST, BE AWARE THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE UNPARDONABLE SIN: BLASPHEMY OF THE HOLY GHOST [I JOHN 5:16, MATTHEW 12:31,32]. I WAS BACKSLIDDEN AT ONE TIME, AND BLASPHEMED JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE HOLY GHOST. I'VE NEVER COUNTED EITHER JESUS OR GOD AS UNHOLY OR EVIL, BUT I HAVE SPOKEN WORDS AGAINST THEM. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE.
THE LORD HAS RESTORED ME, AND THE HOLY GHOST DWELLS WITHIN MY SOUL. REMEMBER, WE ANSWER TO GOD, NOT MAN.
ONE RESULT OF INVESTIGATING UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE FBI WAS SOME WIDESPREAD HARASSMENT AND PERSECUTION BY CROOKED PEOPLE IN/ASSOCIATED WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT, AS I WAS INVESTIGATING CORRUPTION IN LAW ENFORCEMENT. I WAS HARASSED A LOT BY CHURCH PEOPLE AS WELL, THOUGH NOT BY DEVOUT BELIEVERS.
I USED TO BLASPHEME LAW ENFORCEMENT MUCH, DUE TO IT, BECAUSE I LET A ROOT OF BITTERNESS SPRING UP AND FESTER. I HATED ALMOST EVERYTHING AND MOST PEOPLE. IT TOOK ME YEARS TO GET IN A TRULY RIGHT RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST. WE MUST FORGIVE OTHERS, OURSELVES AND LOVE EVEN OUR WORST ENEMIES. HARD BUT ATTAINABLE [SEE I COR. 13].
ONE THING I NEED TO NOTE IS, BECAUSE THERE IS A LOT OF DECEPTION IN AMERICA. IT IS NOT THE HOLY GHOST THAT DRIVES LAW ENFORCEMENT, OR CORPORATIONS, AND MANY THINK IT IS.
THE SPIRIT THAT DRIVES LAW ENFORCEMENT IS LIKE WHAT DRIVES THE ORTHODOX JEWS. IT IS AN AUTHORITY GRANTED BY GOD, AN OPERATION OF GOD, BUT IT IS DIFFERENT THAN THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE LAWS OF AMERICA, WHICH SPRUNG FROM JUDAISM [LAW OF MOSES], ARE AN OPERATION OF GOD. GOD DID NOT SPEAK TO MOSES THROUGH THE HOLY GHOST; HE SPOKE TO MOSES DIRECTLY.
NOTE ALSO THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT OUR RULERS, PER HEBREWS 13:17. THEY ARE TO MERELY GOVERN, NOT RULE. THEY DO NOT LOOK AFTER OUR SOULS AND, AS A MATTER OF FACT, MANY OF THEM AND THEIR LAWS ARE DETRIMENTAL TO OUR SOULS, THAT IS, ANY THAT GO AGAINST OR UNDERMINE BIBLE.
ROMANS 13:1-7 DOES NOT MEAN THAT GOVERNMENT PEOPLE ARE MINISTERS TO US SUCH AS ARE PREACHERS, TEACHERS, PASTORS PROPHETS AND EVEN EACH OTHER. IN THAT CONTEXT, MINISTER MEANS "EARTHLY RULERS WHO, THOUGH THEY DO NOT ALL ACT CONSCIOUSLY AS SERVANTS OF GOD, YET DISCHARGE FUNCTIONS WHICH ARE THE ORDINANCE OF GOD", FROM THE GREEK LEITOURGOS.
LAW ENFORCEMENT PEOPLE ARE THE HUMAN FORM OF A LAWBOOK. THEIR ACTIONS HELP KEEP PEOPLE POINTED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. THE MOSETICAL LAW CANNOT SAVE, NOR WATCH FOR OUR SOULS OF ITSELF, WHICH IS WHAT THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT IS SUPPOSED TO BE AKIN TO, IN A SECULAR WAY.
THE MOSETICAL LAW POINTED THE WAY TO SOMETHING GREATER, CHRIST JESUS. THE LAW CONDEMNS, JESUS SAVES, IN THE PERSON OF THE HOLY GHOST.
WHILE IT'S TRUE THAT THERE ARE CHRISTIANS IN ALL AREAS OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOY, THEY ARE ACTING IN A GOVERNMENTAL CAPACITY WHILE ON DUTY, EVEN IF ALLOWING US SOME GRACE. FOR EXAMPLE, A POLICE OFFICER WHO IS A GOSPEL PREACHER, AND SOME ARE, ARE POLICE OFFICERS WHILE ON DUTY, NOT PREACHERS, EVEN WHEN ALLOWING US SOME GRACE.
THE VERSE IN HEBREWS MEANS OUR PASTORS AND ELDERS. IT IS A SICK AND TWISTED SOCIETY, WHICH WARPS MANY PEOPLE'S WAY OF THINKING.
IF ANYONE, INCLUDING OUR PASTORS OR ELDERS, TELLS US ANYTHING THAT CONFLICTS WITH THE SCRIPTURE, THEN THAT IS NOT TO BE OBEYED NOR ADHERED TO. OUR MAIN RULER IS YESHUA [JESUS CHRIST], IN THE PERSON OF THE HOLY GHOST. NO TEACHING, INCLUDING SEMINARY OR DENOMINATIONAL DOCTRINE, OVERRIDES SCRIPTURE.
                                              AMEN

THE ONLY GREEK WORD FOR MINISTER THAT PERTAINS STRICTLY TO A SERVANT OF GOD, THAT I KNOW OF, IS HIEROURGEO. THE OTHERS, DIAKONOS, HUPERETES, DIAKONEO, LEITOURGEO, HUPERETEO AND ERGAZOMAI ARE USED RATHER INTERCHANGEABLY BETWEEN SERVANTS OF GOD AND SERVANTS OF THE GOVERNMENT OR A CIVILIAN ENTITY.

SOME WORDS OF WISDOM ABOUT HARRY POTTER, BY AN EX-WITCH

     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJQ0NUsj49c

DEUTERONOMY 18:9-14

Can the unsaved or backslidden fool devout believers? Very possible, according to Luke 16:8 and Ezekiel 28:2-10. In Luke 16:8, wise comes from the Greek phronimos, meaning worldly-wise, or practically wise, naturally-wise. Yet, Christ tells us to be as wise as serpents, that is, aware of or discerning, and harmless as doves [Matthew 10:16]. Harmless there in Matthew does not mean unable to harm, but comes from the Greek akeraios, meaning 'unmixed, with absence of foreign [i.e. strange alien to God, Psalm 81:9, 114:1, II Chronicles 33:15] mixture, pure, with the simplicity of a single eye, discerning what is evil [or is used for evil] and choosing only what glorifies God, corresponding with Matthew 6:22, Ephesians 5:7 and others.

I used to wonder, why couldn't Jesus have lived to be old, and ministered for many more years than He did? There are three main reasons why not. The Holy Ghost, which is our guide, comforter, teacher and defender, could not be freely given until Jesus Christ ascended; He had to suffer so that He could succour us; it was necessary in order to fulfil prophecy [John 16:7, Hebrews 2:18, Luke 24:44, John 14:26, 16:13].
God let satan's full force be used against Christ, in order that He could defeat eternal death for us, as an example of how we also can obtain eternal life [I Peter 2:21, Genesis 3:15, I Corinthians 15:57].

It is a very sin sick society, when men and women willingly engage in profane, vulgar and sexually explicit talk and joking in mixed company.
Any woman with any self-respect at all would not engage in such things. When I was at my worst living sinfully which, was largely anger and bitterness, I would not tell dirty jokes, use profanity or say suggestive things in the presence of a woman. I usually would not swear when I was really angry, when a woman was present. My conscience wouldn't allow it, or if I slipped my conscience pricked me. They engage in that, and wonder why there is so much crime against women. It's partly due to women bringing a reproach upon themselves.
[Isaiah 3:16-26]. Women acting like a bunch of whores and limp-wristed men going along with it will cause a society to be destroyed.
Why would anyone respect a woman who wants to be more like a man? Or respect a man who treats women like one of their buddies? It is unnatural and against the Almighty.
The age of liberation has liberated America all right, it's liberated America from any semblence of decency. Men and women are not equal: there are some things a man can do better, and there are some things a woman can do better. And there's a lot that both do that they shouldn't.
Swearing and vulgarity does not make anyone tough, only hard-hearted against things good, not is swearing a sign of being tough. The opposite is actually true.

What is a prostitute? She is a woman who exchanges sex for money. What is the difference between a prostitute and a wife who withholds until her husband buys her what she wants or does as she wants (or the other way around) ? The difference is a piece of paper [I Corinthians 7:1-9].
By the same token, if men would treat their wives like something more than one of the guys or as a slave, things would be more harmonious.
When men start acting like men and women start acting like women, a lot of problems in society would stop.
     [I Peter 3:7, Isaiah 4:1(of sorts)].

I have talked to several people over the years, who tell me that a dead relative has appeared to them and/or talked with them. I had to think about those things further, though I told them to beware of that. It is very dangerous ground, and I believe it to be a trick of satan.
King Saul consulted with a sorceress, to talk with Samuel, who was dead. We are specifically warned to not do that, which is necromancy, and intruding into forbidden ground [I Samuel 28:3-20, Colossians 2:18,19, Leviticus 19:31].
Just as the evil magicians of Egypt imitated some of God's works, up to a point, an evil imitation directed by satan, I believe that talking to a dead relative is talking to an imitation of satan. That practice is far different than the case of some of the saints being resurrected during Christ's time, and Jesus talking with Moses and Elijah.
Those were special circumstances and were not conjured up by man, but rather invoked by God [Matthew 27:52, 17:3]. We are told that the dead know nothing, and can do nothing. Later on, the dead will be raised, the believers at the return of Christ, and everybody else for the final judgement [Ecclesiastes 9:5,6,10, I Thessalonians 4:13-18, I Corinthians 15:51,52, John 5:28,29, Revelation 20:12-15].

LUST

One of the most important messages for the church today in America. The problem of lust, a problem that most preachers and churches do not, will not and/or cannot address. Lust is one of the biggest problems in America, including within the church. Lack of a remedy has caused many to fall away. Lack of understanding by brethren has caused many not to return.
Too many cranks in the church discount the problem, and think it can be remedied by, amongst other erroneous remedies, working people's "fingers to the bone". That is not a remedy. That makes it worse, I can tell you both by experience and from scripture.
What happened when the Egyptians increased the Hebrew's workload? They became more prolific [Exodus 1:12-14].
I can't say that lustful thoughts occupied much of my thought life, but it was a problem, and it is a problem with a lot of people, especially single folks, but also a problem with many married people as well. This also applies to any sin [Matthew 5:28].
My lust was, at one time, masked by alcohol. Once I quit drinking, that problem surfaced and I had to deal with it. God delivers, my deliverance being through prayer, fasting, studying God's Word and counsel from both ministers and God.
Sermons by David Wilkerson helped much, and there is another revelation that helped, that is, a revealing of scripture by the Lord.
Most believers likely do not backslide on purpose. Rather we tend to rationalize, which is compromise [Revelation 3:16], stumble, come under conviction, repent, but continue in sin due to lack of deliverance. We have to pray and study much, and confess our sins [I John 1:9].
If those Catholic priests molested those boys as accused, it is due to false doctrine, the false doctrine of forbidding to marry [I Timothy 4:3, Matthew 19:10-12, I Corinthians 7:1-40].
But what the Lord brought to my attention is that I rationalize. And I was using scripture to do it, including concerning my anger and bitterness. I rationalized that since King David and his men ate the shewbread, when in a desperate situation [Matthew 12:1-9, I Samuel 21:1-6], which was lawful only for the priests to eat, then it must be okay to do this or that at times. The Holy Ghost showed me where my lack of understanding was.
Firstly, the hallowed shewbread was a figure, symbolic of things to come [Hebrews 9:1-9], done away with under the new covenant. It was just a loaf of bread, though it had been blessed. The moral laws were not done away with [Revelation 14:12, Romans ch. 6, Isaiah 5:20, Jeremiah 31:33]. God writes them into our hearts, or to say, He makes us want to obey the moral laws, and chastens us when we don't [Hebrews 12:1-17, 10:26-32, see also the articles 'Backsliding', 'Grace vs. Law' and Discerning Self'].
Secondly, we see from I Samuel 21:1-6, David and his men were only allowed to eat the shewbread if they had kept themselves from women, which they had. So this example is not anywhere near an excuse to sin.
The reason that lust is a major problem in America, perhaps other countries, is because the root of it is envy, which is also the root of murder. David Wilkerson is who I learned that from, and he is right.
There are many church members who contribute to this problem directly, because of false precepts. They have this notion that the man of sin described in Thessalonians has no desire for women, per Daniel 11:37. That verse has absolutely nothing to do with a sexual desire.
Because of that, they will have their victim "turned on", if possible, by a member of the opposite sex. If they detect no desire there, then they write them off as wicked, and/or a homosexual.
That tactic is straight from the pits of hell, and is no indicator at all of a person's salvation, or lack of it. And that should be an obvious fact to any believer.
To begin with, God does not tempt anyone with any sinful thing, at all [James 1:13]. When God tempted Abraham to kill his son Isaac [Genesis 22:1], the word tempted means tried, not tempted to sin. The law was not yet given, so it wouldn't have counted anyway [Romans 5:13].
There are believers so-called, who tempt people to sin, under the guise of testing them. That is not a test, nor prescribed by God at all, and is a direct work of satan. As often as not, it is envy masquerading as an angel of light, wanting someone to fall, so the envious ones can drag someone down. God condemns such practices. It is satan working through those people.
For another thing, have none of them ever heard of eunuchs [Acts 8:37, II Kings 9:32, Daniel 1:3,7, Matthew 19:12], or nuns? Eunuchs are Godly men and women, who have no sexual desire. Priests and nuns have taken vows of celibacy to do the Lord's work, and most of them are Godly and have defeated the sexual desire, many may be eunuchs also.
People who engage in such "tests" are spiritual descendants of the wicked of Sodom and Gomorrah, filled with envy, manifested in extreme lust. They wanted everyone to be as them, and sought to destroy those who would not.
People who do those "tests" claim that it is an time-honored tradition. It is a time-honored tradition, yes, honored only by satan {Matthew 15:3]. And just because a method or tradition has been done for a long time, does not make it right. Slavery was in existence in America for 246 years, officially. Obviously it was wrong.
No, nothing in the Bible indicates that the man of sin will have no sexual desire. Every dictatorial tyrant in history was married and/or had a woman friend. The man of sin may be a homosexual, or a bisexual, but nothing indicates at all, that he will be without the sexual desire. People who think otherwise are ignorant and have thinking based upon carnality, probably in order to justify their own sexual lust, though usually to condemn without helping, in order to justify their own "righteousness".
Walid Shoebat, a converted Muslim, spells it out fine: the lack of desire of women means disregarding their softer emotional side and their more feminine qualities. In other words, they're just one of the guys.

Is it true, as some assert, that you are either for Christ or against Him? And since an antiChrist is someone who is against Christ, is that  person [an unsaved person who has not accepted Christ in their heart, but is not necessarily against Him}  an antiChrist, a person forever doomed?
Jesus said in Matthew 12:30 "that he that is not with me is against me". If we are with someone on a trip, that does not mean that we are in full agreement with them, nor that we are against them. Many are pondering whether or not to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour, being in what the Bible calls the valley of decision [Joel 3:14], or are halt between two opinions [I Kings 18:21].
While it is true that a person must be born again [converted] to see the kingdom of God [John 3:3, Ezekiel 36:25-27], an unsaved person is not necessarily against Christ and God. In Luke 9:50, Jesus also said that "he that is not against us is for us". We don't know if the people mentioned in verse 49 ever converted or not, but they knew there is power in Jesus' name, and were trying to do good. There was a small group of men in Acts 19:13-16 who were not converted, and were trying to cast out evil spirits in Jesus' name. They were obviously not against Christ, though their true intentions could have been wrong, such as was the case with a sorcerer named Simon, who was trying to use God's power for personal gain [Acts 8:9-24].
An antiChrist is someone who refuses to believe that Jesus Christ was a flesh and blood person upon earth [I John 4:1-3], once being showed the truth, but instead of ever accepting the truth, totally rebels against it and hates it, considering the Holy Ghost evil.
     See also John 10:25,37,38.

Not every scientist or science enthusiast is an atheist or otherwise an unbeliever in Jesus Christ, and some or many are Christian believers. Unfortunately, in accordance with the builders of the Tower of Babel in Genesis, science has largely been used to attempt to disprove the Bible, and God's existence. However, in the pursuit of more and more science, understanding, knowledge and proof that God does not exist, science has under estimated God's wisdom and inadvertently proved many Biblical prophecies correct, true, genuine and highly [100% in my view] accurate. Any believers who need a boost in faith or an extra ministry tool, or any unbelievers who are brave enough and objective enough, check out this lesson/sermon by Perry Stone, entitled "Great and Fearful Signs Coming From the Second Heaven", at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcExtKsLBTo

What is an indicator that the Bible is truly God's Word? Two main things are: Various secular and "church" authorities have, throughout the ages, tried to prevent the masses from reading the Bible, yet have failed [Matthew 16:18], and; the more Christians are persecuted, the more the church grows.  During severe catastrophes, earthly possessions mean nothing to people [Luke 12:16-21].

Religion has caused countless wars, battles and problems. Salvation by Jesus Christ has saved souls. Refusal to adhere to Christ's doctrines is a part of religion.

     LACK OF SEXUAL DESIRE

A lot of people have been cast down by fellow "believers", for, amongst other reasons, failure to properly interpret scriptures, likely due to either not having the Holy Ghost to begin with, or ignoring it and letting human rationale take precedence.
But one verse in particular has stuck in my mind for years, and I knew they were all wrong about something, and had the other verses I needed to refute them, and to hold them at bay, but was still missing a key piece.
The verse to which I am referring is Daniel 11:37, speaking of one of the wicked rulers: "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god...".
Many similitudes are in the Bible, okay. What pertains to a group can pertain to an individual, or the other way around. For example, chapters 2 and 3 of the book of Revelations is Jesus speaking through John to the seven churches of Ephesus.
At the same time, any individual believer can have any or all of those same attributes, or one or another of a group of those attributes. I said this part just to illustrate one of the similitudes.
Now, what has been happening over the years, decades, maybe centuries, but more now than ever, is that ignorant believers are using that verse, well, a part of that verse, as a test of a professing believer's spirit, whether it is of God or the devil, or just the human spirit solely.
To put it blatantly, they'll have some "warm" member of the opposite gender, who knows how to work it, try their target, to see if the target in question actually has the sexual desire.  If not, then of course, they'll write that person off as wicked, due to a misinterpretation of that verse.
I am telling you, that is a false test and what is often done to people who fail is one of the most wicked things that can be done to a person and is a major snare of the devil upon those who indulge in such "tests".
If believers would read their Bibles and pray for discernment, they would know better, because they would know what scripture means. Instead, they engage in practices that are straight out of the pits of hell, and fully endorsed by satan himself, having a somewhat Godly facade.
Firstly, we are to restrain our carnal desires. and help each other to, not further them. That so called test is the same as tempting a person to commit sin, and also tempting God.
God tempts no one. The verse where it says God tempted Abraham means God tried Abraham, rather than tempt him to sin. Remember, at that time the commandments were not yet given, so Abraham didn't know it was sin to offer a human sacrifice. He simply feared God greatly and was prepared to be obedient.
Back to the point, Jesus was celibate, always a virgin. The Apostle Paul admonishes us to remain single if we can contain, so that we can focus on doing God's work in full without earthly distractions, though not by commandment.
Daniel, Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego were eunuchs, as were their direct supervisors in the nation into which they were carried captive. It's doubtful that many of the original apostles were married. I think it's only St. Peter that we know was married, concerning the original apostles.
Jesus said there are people born eunuchs, some are made eunuchs, and some make themselves eunuchs for God's sake. Others just remain celibate.
And we have church people who are finding people who just don't have the sexual desire, for one of the reasons just stated, and are making them out to be either wicked or homosexual.
And then they're wondering why so many believers are going out and engaging in sex outside of marriage, or homosexuality. Those church people are making them feel worthless, and so they either give in or go out to prove that their not "cold".
The Catholics forbid their priests to marry, and that is also wrong, against scripture, and against what God wants for everybody, which is freedom to choose whether or not to marry.
If they can contain without burning, then they should remain single and celibate if desired, according to scripture.
Because of improperly interpreted scripture, some prophecy scholars think that the antiChrist, or the son of perdition, the big, wicked ruler, will be a pope. And it could well be [the possibility substantiated by the late Pope Gregory], or it could as well be a protestant, if celibacy is an attribute of that evil person.
In short, the son of perdition must meet several requirements, and it could be either a celibate man or a married man.
Since the church has erroneously interpreted that verse, they conclude that the son of perdition will be a celibate man. They fail to take into account the other parts of that verse.
People also fail to take into account the fact that most, if not all, of the most wicked men on earth have had a wife and/or girlfriend. Rapists have the same sexual desire as most other people, though something else is wrong.
This issue has always burned in my mind, and I finally found the missing key.
From a lesson I just seen on prophecy, I believe it will be a Muslim. Why? Because Muslim males regard not the desire of women, neither married and unmarried men. Women are "treated worse than dogs under Shariah Law", and are regarded by Muslim men as property, slaves, even raping them at will.
The verse in Daniel, 11:37, has absolutely nothing to do with sexual desire. And it's the time for the church to get it's head out of the devil's sandbox, and start reading their Bibles, praying, accepting the whole Word of God, and do what it says.
It's because of devil's doctrine like that why so many believers go out feeling like trash, and go have sex and turn into homosexuals. So now we have rampant homosexuality, sex outside of marriage and failed marriages one right after another. Many people likely get married because it's expected, and of course if they don't, then there is something wrong with them, according to the ignorant, that is. And that is partly the fault of the church.
Note:there is a big difference between fire and brimstone preaching resulting in the Holy Ghost convicting or chastising someone, and human beings bringing on a false condemnation [I Timothy 3:6, Mark 14:64, Romans 14:23 (3 types)]. And mind games are the devil's tool, leading not to repentance but rather to despair of any chance to repent.
We need more sin and repentance preaching, and no mind games. Part of Christ's love is His warnings against sin.
I hope that everyone who reads this and does such things gets so convicted of God that they have to fall down on their knees right where they're at and ask God for forgiveness. I've had to many times for one or another of sins, and it's time for the church to quit hosting the devil's playground.
And on a secular note, law enforcement authorities need to clean up their informant networks, which are not much more than either a whore and pimp show, and/or a drug and fencing ring, which has spread to almost all facets of society, seeing that the informant network is that large and extensive, especially including the CIA.
No matter what authority one may be under, God does not honor the idea of doing certain things due to the nature of the mission or even due to orders, if it's against His rules.
There are good, what you could call informant networks, which is just a group of people communicating about any given thing. It's good for the church to keep up on where everybody else in the church is, what they are doing, etc., in order to know what to pray for, how to keep in touch, etc. The bottom line is how the information is used, that determines whether it's good or bad.
Anyway, nobody is  gay simply because they don't date, marry or fool around. Besides the reasons stated above, many people are just too busy to look for a companion. If we don't wait on marriage we are just fooling ourselves, condemning ourselves and shorting ourselves.
I have never and will never condone homosexuality, though there are some homosexuals I like as people.
But those of you who think it's okay for a man and a woman to engage in it outside of marriage, while slamming the gays [which is an abomination and unnatural], read what James says: "Whosoever shall keep the whole law, yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all"-2:10.
On the one hand, we really have no excuse for sin, even knowing we're going to mess up somehow at times. On the other hand, the church needs to get back to it's true doctrines, and start working with it's people, instead of against them.
Some people mistakenly think that the sexual desire can be burnt out of people by over working them or some such thing. That doesn't work, either. The Egyptians started afflicting the captive Jews more, in order to reduce the number of births, but the Jews started having even more babies.
Deliverance through Jesus Christ is what's needed, not affliction, meaning sin and repentance preaching, coupled with how to be delivered from ourselves, from our sinful inclinations, not a bunch of humanistic, psychological, positive thinking hype and carnal effort and human reasoning.
Again, it's time for the church, and America at large for that matter, to get it's hands out of the devil's sandbox.
This is an important issue, because it sets the stage for all sorts of misinterpreted scripture, thus confusion.

One Christian denomination claims that the head of their church is the vicar of Jesus Christ, and is the final say over all churches. However, there is no Biblical reference to support that claim, and there is no equivalent to a vicar in the Jewish religion.
Jesus Christ fulfilled the promise of a Messiah foretold in the old testament, and He is the High Priest of our faith [Hebrews 5:10, 4:15,7:14,17, 22-28, 12:2], abolishing the need for us who believe to have someone else pray to God for us.
The doctrine of a man being a vicar of Christ on earth is filled with the ultimate blasphemous wording, such as claiming that the vicar is God on earth and that God has to abide by their decisions. That sin is the same sin that Lucifer committed, and is antiChrist [Isaiah 14:12-17].
There are many true believers in that denomination, and even some of the "vicars" have been true believers, though many have held to false doctrine. A "vicar" named Gregory, of long ago, stated that the the office of "vicar" is upheld by antiChrist doctrine.

     THE SABBATH

In an article on one of the pages, I need to expound more. The verse saying "He that regards the day, regards to the Lord; and he that regards not the day, to the Lord he does not regard", in Romans 14:6, does not even remotely, in an explicit way, refer to the day of Sunday as the Sabbath. The true Sabbath is Saturday, as the day was changed by Constantine in 321 A.D., in honor of the sun god, a pagan god.
By not worshipping on Saturday, that is breaking the 4th commandment, which we are to keep. Can we do anything about it, as far as changing it, individually? No, we cannot. There is not always anywhere to go on Saturday, to a church that believes in all of the Bible.
I personally believe that Romans 14:6 might give us some leeway, since we can't seem to do much about it. Sunday is the first day of the week, but it is the seventh day from the previous Monday. We are told that the Apostles came together on the first day of the week to break bread and hear preaching [Acts 20:7].
This is no intent to condone the breaking of the Sabbath, and we need to change it back to Saturday. However, it's the best that many of us can do for now.

COMMUNICATION

One of the biggest hindrances to the church, and society at large for that matter, is lack of verbal communication. There is no substitute for verbal communication between human beings.
Both the church and society have resorted to a form of psychological methods for "reforming" people, instead of plainly communicating. Those methods are of evil [Proverbs 6:12-15].
Instead of talking to people, both society and the church have resorted to methods of manipulating people, which is antiChrist, the word anti not only meaning 'against', but also 'instead of' [I Timothy 4:1].
Most law enforcement entities, including local, state and federal agencies use methods as such, which is psychological warfare and seducing of spirits [I Timothy 4:1, Matthew 12:24-29, I John 2:26,27]. Many civilian entities and individuals engage in these things as well.
Psychological warfare, which is seducing of [evil] sprits, breaks people down, destroys their resistance to wickedness by weakening their inhibitions, thus contributing to sin which causes crime [Revelation 2:20-23].
It is going to continue to get worse [II Timothy 4:3 > 3:12,13, Ezekiel 11:15, Revelation 18:9,13,24], but we do not have to be partakers of it [Ezekiel 11:12, Psalm 50:18, I Timothy 5:22, Revelation 18:4].
We who believe are to be partakers of the things of God[Colossians 1:12, Ephesians 3:6, James 4:4-11].
One example of this practice results in the recent [last several years], sporadical spates of police using excessive force and violence against often unarmed culprits or suspects, some of them dying from the injuries. This attempts to instill fear upon the people, a far cry from respect [Matthew 23:24-35].
Firstly, the act itself has it's root in envy, leading to hatred, leading to violence, which is against God's word [Luke 3:14]. There is a big difference between force and violence, excessive force lying somewhere in between.
The Hebrew word for envy is qanah, which generally means jealous, but in certain contexts it goes deeper. Cain murdered Abel, not because he wanted the goodness of heart towards God that Abel possessed, but because he didn't want it, nor did he want Abel to have it either. It's a bit difficult to tie envy in with police using excessive force, until you consider that qanah also means zealous. Then it ties in.
This whole example goes far deeper, but suffice it to say here, that the spirit of fear, thus the instilling of it, is not of God [II Timothy 1:7]. There is a big difference between instilling the fear [reverence, awe] of God, and just plain fear [Luke 12:4,5].
Another example concerns a favorite trick of the FBI upon suspects, culprits, whistleblowers and other people who do things that they disagree with.
They will determine where the person goes and when, and then either an agent or an informant will show up there, or on the way there, making sure that the person notices. They will also tell that person's friends, family, neighbors and other associates that the person is into crime or other bad things, a mental case or a subversive person, in order to cause people to alienate themselves from that person, deride them or treat them strangely [Matthew 5:11].
If the victim starts reporting those acts of harassment and intimidation, then the scenario will change to acts of denial, the culprits often convincing the victim's associates they those acts are not happening [in some cases the intimidators lie to the Holy Ghost, an unpardonable sin I John 5:16, Matthew 12:31,32].
I once was fairly tight with the FBI, and was offered a job with them, but turned it down, respectfully, so I know these things.
Mind games [psychological and spiritual warfare] are causing a spirit of confusion, amongst other things, and is not of God [I Corinthians 14:33]. I have no doubts that there are people in mental institutions who have been dealt with in that manner, many of them innocent of any crime.
I'm not picking on these two entities in particular, just some of the ungodly stunts that they pull at times. Some of them I highly respect.
Our real enemy is never really a human being, but satan and evil spirits [Ephesians 6:12]. Bad people are simply mediums through whom satan works.
The previous two examples are just two of many acts of evil that the ungodly do, both government and civilian. Another word for them is spiritual wickedness.
Because all authority is given, granted or allowed by God [Romans 13:1], people who do these things are totally out of line. Nothing disallowed of God to Christian believers or orthodox Jews is legally or morally permissible for anyone acting in an official capacity.
Those who do such things have twisted perceptions of ethics, values and morals, and are thumbing their noses at the Almighty [I Thessalonians 4:8].
One time while in Colorado, at a place of work, and while an acting FBI street agent, the FBI wanted me to perform mind games on a suspect. I simply told the guy what the FBI wanted me to do, informing him that I didn't believe in such things, and told my superior what I did, and why. I remained in good standing with them.
They, in turn, had the guy start harassing me, so I told the CIA about it, who made his life unpleasant for awhile, before turning him over to the FBI. I also told the guy I wasn't doing him any real favor, because they'd get him anyway, which they did, just that my religious belief prohibited me from doing that to people.
I do have to say, that agency-wise, from my experience, the actual FBI agents are generally the most respectful of the Christian faith, if they know someone is serious about it, but definitely not all. I think the U.S. Marshalls are too.
Most of the government is respectful to it, I believe, but there are those who are not, of course.  A lot of people, including Christian believers, do not understand some of the things about the faith.
The two main problems concerning the government and the Christian faith is: much of the church is apostate, compromising on doctrines, and; the current, and some past, government administrations are promoting antiChrist policies, anti in the context of antiChrist meaning 'against' and 'instead of'.
Parts of the government is bent on making America dependent upon the government, and rather than on the Almighty, as well as promoting Islam over Christianity, Islam being a direct enemy of Jesus Christ and His believers.
The violent terrorists themselves are not near the threat that the actual doctrine of Islam is. The doctrine of Islam is antiChrist. They are against Christ as being the Messiah, and try to replace Christianity with Islam [instead of].
Muslims profess that Jesus, as a person, was a great teacher, perhaps a prophet. But they deny that He is the Christ, the Messiah. They don't believe that He was crucified, much less risen or ascended into heaven.
In other words, they believe in Jesus as a person, but not that He is the Christ.

     STAND YOUR GROUND!

Note: God teaches us through our experiences, and so I use them to help explain what the Holy Ghost has shown me. For the record, my duty with the FBI was in 1994-95, and officially ended then.
Unfortunately, some unscrupulous agents, officers, operatives and informants created circumstances which dictated that I continue sleuthing for a number of years, or so I thought [Proverbs 14:12].
My main mission was getting rid of corruption in law enforcement. We never achieved full, or much really, case closure. Most of 'em are still in operation and operating corruptly.
As for me, God has said, enough, get back to Bethel. My advice is, do not call upon law enforcement unless you absolutely need to, and never trust any of them very far, as a lot of them are self serving crooks and despisers of those who do good [II Timothy 3:2-7], having a form of godliness but denying God's power, going after filthy lucre and ungodly agendas [I Thessalonians 5:3, Ezekiel 13:16, Jude 10-13,18,19].
About 95% of them would sell their grandmother up the river for a shoddy used car or a good used tv. Most are not unredeemable, but they're in dire straits with the Almighty, buncha Philistines, Pharisees and Edomites.
The ones of the 95% who aren't that way are simply ignorant and naive about what is really going on in America.
What does the Almighty have to say to Christians who are embracing [I Corinthians 7:31, Philippians 4:22, Romans 12:2] worldly ways and systems? "Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues"-Revelation 18:4.
What does the Almighty have to say to the government/civilian entities/people who are uprooting the faith of some? 'Let my people go, that they may serve me"-Exodus 8:1.

    MOSES IN THE BASKET

There are people who try to refute the Exodus, and even Moses. They try to say that the Hebrews made up the story of Moses' mother putting him into a basket and Pharoah's daughter finding him. They say that the story was made up from a similar story about Sargon of Akkad, a Mesopotamian king, whose reign ended around 753 years before Moses was even born. According to tradition, Sargon was found floating in a basket in a river, and he was adopted, eventually becoming a great ruler.
Sargon ruled from 2334-2279 bc, and Moses was born in/around 1526 bc. Joseph, Jacob's son, was ruling in Egypt when his father and brethren arrived in Egypt in/around 1876 bc.
There were links between Egypt and Mesopotamia, and they shared the same type of religion. The Hebrews had links with Mesopotamia, since Abraham had descendants there. So it is likely that the Hebrews were familiar with stories from the Mesopotamia culture. As time passed, more links developed between Egypt and Mesopotamia, as Egypt bought and sold all over that part of the world.
The Hebrews passed detailed stories and geneologies down from generation to generation, both verbally and written on animal skins. So they could have known about the Sargon story from tradition or heard about it while in Egypt.
Since both Egypt and Mesopotamia had a polytheistic religion and there were similarities, it is highly probable that Moses' mother got the idea to put Moses into a basket on the river from the Sargon tradition.
Yochebed may have deduced that since Egypt was aware of Sargon aspiring to greatness, and had been found floating in the Euphrates River, and since to ignore the baby Moses would have been sacriligious to the Egyptians, in that they would have been ignoring a potential great leader, they saved him for that reason. Most likely, Moses' Egyptian mother just wanted a baby as well.
Since Moses' sister followed the floating baby to where Hatshepshut picked him up, it doesn't seem likely that the idea was conceived on a whim or that Yochebed was just taking a wild chance. It is highly probable that the Lord brought the idea to Yochebed's memory, and guided her in planning the scheme, assuring her that the baby would turn out okay, which he did.

There are preachers who tell their congregations that the New Covenant, ushered in by Jesus Christ, did away with the commandments, and that a Christian believer can do anything they want to do. That is false doctrine, per a good number of verses and doctrines in the Bible. One in particular caught my eye this evening, which is Romans 7:13, which shows that even before, or without, the law of Moses, sin was still sin. The Mosetical law made sin to be exceeding sinful. The entire book of Romans clearly shows us that we are to obey the moral commandments, to the best of our ability, and to strive to obey them all, while still walking in the law of liberty.

I ran across and watched an excellent discourse on the rapture. There seems to be good viewpoints for pre, mid and post tribulation rapture. This one is post tribulation rapture. I'm not completely convinced of any of the three for 100% sure. However, I think it to be very wise to consider that believers may have to go through the tribulation, howbeit with the protection of the Holy Ghost sent by God, by the unction of Jesus Christ. Otherwise, some believers will likely be mighty disappointed if it isn't pre or mid. Note also, that most of the books and movies on the subject have some definite false doctrines in them. One excellent series of lessons on end time prophecy can be found at 666truth.org. Here is the discourse I just mentioned: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uW4E83N8pog

DO EVIL, THAT GOOD MAY COME?

Strangely enough, there are people who think that folks who do evil to others, are going to heaven, if it helps fulfil prophecy. Someone asked me some years ago, "...won't Judas go to heaven, since he helped bring about God's plan?" The answer is no. We know that he did not repent, though at some point in time before he hung himself, he likely could have. But note that during the Last Supper, satan entered into him, and he went out and made the plans to betray Christ.
I learned an interesting thing about Judas a few years ago, in a novel by Frank Slaughter. Judas was a Zealot, which in our day would be a radical militia member. Judas did not intend for Christ to be harmed. No, he did not. To the contraire, he thought that by forcing Christ's hand, that Jesus would have to use His power to save Himself, and set up an earthly kingdom. Judas had good intentions, but his intentions came before God's, and the spirit of antichrist entered into him. You see, in the Greek and Hebrew, anti means not only against, but it also means 'instead of'. Be very ware of good intentions, even our own. Obey the Holy Ghost.
God did not plan for Jesus to be crucified, or for any other evil to happen. It's simply that the Almighty knew before the foundation of the world everything that would, and will, happen. God uses bad things to bring people to the saving grace of Christ.
People like Nebuchadrezzar and other dictators, have been cited as being a tool for God, even a "servant" for God. But in that context, it means that those persons served God's purpose, not that they served Him with a pure heart. [Note that Nebuchadnezzae acknowledged the Son of God, and had a change of heart. I believe that Nebuchadrezzar will be in heaven.
Some liken Nebuchadnezzar to Hitler, but that is a false assumption. Whereas Hitler sought to destroy the Jews, Nebuchadrezzar only took them captive and made them serve him.
Even though people who persecute Christians do cause us to cling more tightly to Christ, they are not doing God's will. People who do God's will do not persecute anyone, even their enemies.
PRAY FOR DISCERNMENT. THE END DOES NOT JUSTIFY THE MEANS.
     Romans 3:8

     PRAY FOR THE END?

I believe that a good many people who claim to be believers actually not only hope for the end to come swiftly, that is, the great and dreadful day of the Lord [Zephaniah 1:14-18], but do things to hasten it, including not winning others to Christ, thinking that the sooner it gets terrible, the sooner we will be raptured. We may have to endure at least some of the tribulation.
But will people who think like that that go to heaven? I don't think so. We believers need to pray for delay, so that we can win as many people to the Lord as possible. In Amos 5:18, the Lord says "woe to them that desire the day of the Lord...as if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him...". I know life can seem meaningless or overbearing at times, but we need to pray for strength to endure, not for the end to come. See also Amos 5:14,15,20, lest verses 21-27 come to pass upon the church.
     See also Matthew 25:14-30.

The verse in Malichi 4:6, "And he (God) shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the children...", does not mean that the parents are to do the bidding of the children, nor take advice from the children or let them direct things. This verse coincides with Mark 10:15 and Matthew 18:3, telling us that our hearts must become as pure as a child's, in order to receive Christ into our hearts and enter the kingdom of God, and later the kingdom of heaven after death.

Sadly, even some people who claim to be believers doubt the virgin conception and birth of Mary, the mother of Jesus. It's truly even more sad, because even the Muslims believe in the virgin birth, just not the crucifixion or resurrection. But there's no doubt that there was proof enough among Mary's peers that she was a virgin until after Jesus was born.
It is shown in the Old Testament, one way in which a woman's virginity at the time of marriage was proven, in Deuteronomy 22:13-21. There were also other ways of determining a woman's virginity at the time of marriage, explained at this link:
http://lavistachurchofchrist.org/LVanswers/2006/11-02.htm

Isaiah 3:1-8 tells about when God's people's doings are against the Lord, He will send want, in various ways, and that people will be against each other in oppressive ways. A verse in particular is verse 4, "And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them". I've seen this come to pass, and it ain't good.
That verse does not mean that children or the inexperienced, though more vibrant, should make the decisions. It has turned that way due to man's disobedience to God. I see parents letting the kids decide what everyone will watch on tv or deciding what to eat for supper, all the time. I see parents overworking themselves, killing themselves slowly, wearing out before their time, in order to provide a better life for their children.
These things are destroying God's ordered hierarchy of authority and reverence. Instead of "killing themselves", parents ought to teach their children the ways of the Lord, which encompasses not only being content with simpler things and reflecting upon and serving God, but learning to earn their way.
People who are given a handout, rather than a hand up, generally do not appreciate it very much, if at all. In turn, they become oppressive to other people, lose, or never obtain, respect for the Lord, their parents, their elderly or each other.
These kinds of things provoke the Lord who, in turn, sends want, want of all things good, especially peace within.

    FORSAKE EXERCISE?

There is a certain faction of so-called Christians, who entirely take I Timothy 4:8, Psalm 147:10 and Amos 2:14-16 way out of context, in order to satiate their own sensual, ungodly and counterfeit desires. These verses mean that bodily exercise profits but little for getting closer to God and Christ. It in no way means that we should not get exercise. To the contrary, God gave doctors their knowledge and wisdom, and he gave all of us a brain with which to use common sense. The people who try to get you not to keep fit are warped, twisted, sick and lazy. They are the type who follow old wives' fables [I Timothy 4:7], have no idea what scripture means [I Timothy 1:7], because they're not right with God to begin with, and are no more than perverted busybodies [I Timothy 5:11-13], and seek to either control you, in order to destroy you for satan. They are of the bunch in America who are too hoity toity for their own good, thinking that it is what will save them, and have nothing better to do than put their noses where they do not belong. If bodily exercise is a sin, then Jesus would have rode around in a cart and horse everywhere He went. Those kind of people are false, and think they can help create an earthly utopia, which will never be [II Timothy 3:5]. Whatever the millinieil reign of Christ will be, God will not need man's help to create it, and it will not be until after the tribulation and when Christ Jesus sets foot on the mount of Olives, ending the final battle of Armegeddon. Further, a lot of the women who discourage people from keeping fit are whores, looking to recruit people for pornography-based activities.
The churches are full of people like that, and are false brethren with an insidious agenda. By the same token, America is spoiled rotten and has had it far too easy for too long.
By the same token, there are factories and other businesses which work their employees too many hours and too many days, which depletes people's energy and takes away from their family time.
See also II Timothy 3:13, Ezekiel 11:15.

Contrary to what much of the church teaches, you do not have to have all faith in order for God to heal you or a loved one. You simply have to ask in faith, with what faith you have. And, He does sometimes heal in stages. See Mark 9:17-24 and Mark 8:22-25.

There are a lot of people, most people I believe, who are converted because they fear going to hell after death. We don't love God truly, until we are converted.
There are also people who say that people like that are not really converted. Very untrue. Actually, Jesus spoke about hell way more than He spoke about heaven.
If people thought that after death there was either heaven or just nothing at all, it's likely that few would bother serving the Lord or get converted to begin with. Only the ambitious would.
Not only that, but if most people really believed that there was just nothing, if one didn't go to heaven, there would be far more suicides than there are. There's plenty now, because they have lost all hope, but there would be many more if they didn't think there is a hell.
What it is, is that we need to continually seek a closer walk with the Lord, asking Him to help us love Jesus more and to have a closer relationship with both Him and the Father. People who say what I just mentioned have a root of envy, maybe not being converted themselves. Unless you have at least been touched by the Lord, you cannot say that Jesus is Lord, although one day, when He returns, all people will say so, because they will be forced to or have no other option, though still lost and damned. I Corinthians 12:3 and Romans 14:11. Also I John 4:10,19 and John 15:16.

Why does God let good people, including devout Christians, be taken out of this world when they are? One answer is found in Isaiah 57:1. Why does God let bad things happen, tragedies, calamities, catastrophes, diseases and such? One answer is found in the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy. Another reason is that even the innocent suffer sometimes, due to other people's sins [I Chronicles 21:1-15].
One thing that likely causes a lot of cancer, is the result of over 80,000 different chemicals being used in the United States. Some industry leaders who know this, do nothing about it and, as a result, innocent people suffer for those people's sins.

One of the abused concepts in the Bible, abused by misled church goers, is the concept of meekness. As believers, we are to be meek, it is written. But what exactly does 'meek' mean? Certainly not what some push it to mean.
Meek, depending upon context, is from the Greek prautes, or praotes, and praupathia.
The first has less to do with the outward behavior and relations to fellow man, concerning the natural disposition. It's chief meaning is an "inwrought grace of the soul; and the exercises of it are first, and chiefly, towards God".
It means a humble heart and one which does not fight against God or struggle and contend with Him.
It in no sense suggests weakness or pusillanimity, as the closest English definition suggests. It is a condition of mind and heart, leading to gentleness appropriate to actions. It does not mean a lack of self assertiveness and self-interest, as in allowing others to run over you. No one ran over Christ during His ministry, and He was very self-assertive, and took care of Himself.
A meek person could be, for example, a martial artist who could easily kill an attacker, yet simply subdues him with just the force necessary. Meekness in no way implies helplessness, not even when the Christian believer is compared to sheep. That simply means that we need a shepherd, Jesus Christ, in the form of the Holy Ghost.
There are those who strongly imply, even demand, a form of meekness which is a lack of self-assertiveness, weak and even effeminate. Those definitions are described in Colossians 2:18, amongst other places, and is from an evil spirit, of the devil.

Is it possible for us believers to listen to secular music of whatever type, and feel the Holy Ghost witnessing to our hearts? I firmly assert that is happens. But why and How? Does that music replace hymns and gospel messages? Absolutely not!
But here's the drift: whether a group is Christian or not makes little difference in this regard, because in god's grand splendor, glory and Divine purpose, he gives us messages via many things.
Here is why. If our hearts and minds are pure in Christ, we receive God's messages. If we are pure, all things are "pure", in a certain sense of the word. If we are evil, then everything is evil. For example, if we are pure in Christ, then laws which are not against scripture should not bother us, because we know that those laws help keep us in line, and that all things, no matter how tragic, work for our good [Titus 1:15, Psalm 18:26].
Again, a secular song does not replace a Gospel hymn or Biblical doctrine, but you can get messages from secular things, even when the singer does not or may not intend for it to be so. Frankly, I myself get more Gospel messages from the Golden Oldies than I do from most of the Contemporary "Christian" music. Nothing replaces songs about the blood of Jesus or His doctrines [Luke 16:9].
The reason also is that you can say the same thing with different words. You don't have to quote scripture per say, in order to deliver a Biblical doctrine.
Nonetheless, study your Book daily, even if you only have time for a few verses. You will begin to be blessed. And pray always [I Thessalonians 5:16-18].
One thing about most secular songs, though, is that most of the messages they convey are either not a Biblical doctrine or precept, or they are against Biblical doctrines and precepts [Mark 9:40].
Once in a while, we believers can get a touch of the Holy Ghost when we hear music that is ungodly, if we are studied up on the Good Book. Reason is, the Holy Ghost can bring scripture to our minds which describe the wickedness of what we're hearing, and so God blesses us.
This is simply a way for believers who are exposed to garbage, to combat the ill effects of some of the music, not to condone anything ungodly.
Nonetheless, we have to be careful what we take in, because we can be ill affected by certain things we're around, just as Lot was [II Peter 2:8]. Remember also, that satan uses music to corrupt people, as he was once an angel of God who played music, but he turned wicked and was cast out of heaven [Ezekiel 28:1-19 (esp. v. 13), Isaiah 14:12-17, Luke 10:18, II Corinthians 11:14, Daniel 3:1-30, Amos 6:1,3-6].
I'm not condemning all secular music, by any means. I love much of the Golden Oldies, as much of it does have meanings which you could decipher as Biblical messages. Bluegrass is beautiful music, as well as some of the pop, like ABBA.
But if it brings out anything which is against scripture, like sensuality and such, then it is bad. Some of the Contemporary "Christian" music is no better, as it seems to me that it is just a "feel good" type of music, and has no Biblical meaning or undertone to it. Things like that are antiChrist, anti meaning not only against, but it also means instead of.

One doctrine going around is Dispensationalism. I think part of that belief is that in these latter days, God is working things differently than he did during the early days of Christianity. I don't believe that at all, though I do hold to other elements of Dispensationalism. I have seen and experienced enough to say that God works exactly the same now, as he did during the days of the apostles. Once the rapture of the church occurs, then things will drastically change.
I have read, and studied, the Bible through many times and continue to, and have found nothing to indicate that. I believe that those who say things like that are confusing various stages of secular history with the Gospel workings of God.     Everything is driven by a spirit, is allowed, sanctioned or ordained of God [Hebrews 11:3, Romans 13:1-7, Jeremiah 43:10-13] and because various stages of history are driven by different spirits [I Timothy 4:1, Ephesians 6:12], they seem to think that God is changing how he works [I Corinthians 12:5,6].
I believe scripture teaches that God works all Gospel workings the same, from Christ's time until the church is taken out of this world [Romans 11:1,2,5,7-29, II Thessalonians 2:7]. That thinking of otherwise causes some of them to replace the Holy Spirit workings with man's knowledge, and what they are effectively doing is setting up people to go apostate, because it is adhering to a system, rather than abiding by the bidding of the Holy Ghost and aligning it with scripture.
What some of them are saying, in essence, is that, over time we have attained to great knowledge of scripture and what it means, by the Holy Ghost, but we no longer need the Holy Ghost, because It has endowed us with all of this knowledge. That is 100% false and of the wrong spirit [Galatians 4:8-31, I Corinthians 1:19-31, Romans 8:9, I John 2:22, 4:1-3, 2:27, II John 7,9-11].
I do believe, however, that Israel is still God's elect, and though each individual Jew must repent of their sins and accept Jesus Christ as Messiah in order to enter the kingdoms of God and of heaven, Israel will, as a nation, be saved in order to fulfill prophecy [Romans ch. 11].
They have turned the Gospel into the same thing that the Pharisees turned Judaism into, culminating around the time of Christ on earth. Some do it on purpose, some inadvertently.
Part of Dispensationalism maintains that Biblical covenants cause history to order different dispensations. Earthly-wise, that is true, but spiritual-wise, that is not true, because the Holy Ghost works the same always, from the time Jesus was on earth until the rapture of the church. After that I don't know.
That type of thinking causes scholars to believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit [I Corinthians 12:1,4-11] were only available during the apostolic times, which is definitely not so. I have seen every gift used for years now, and they are as necessary now as they ever were.
I have seen and heard of people being supernaturally healed, and have read documentaries of people being raised from the dead, even recently. I've been told that even the CIA has people who have witnessed people being raised from the dead. It doesn't happen often or everywhere, but it does happen at times.
Why would the Almighty take away a secondary working of the Holy Ghost, the gifts of the Spirit, while still working the most powerful and most important working, the act of grace through conversion of the heart? That is the biggest miracle of all, while the gifts are tools to not only supplement that, but to help convince the unbelievers that God is all powerful. Even though a changed life is the most powerful witness, the gifts are also important for the maintenance of the church.
Just as we need tools with which to build a physical house, we need the Spirit's tools to build God's spiritual house [I Peter 2:5]. We don't rejoice in the tools, but in the results the tools give.
The Apostle Paul was born out of due season [I Corinthians 15:8], and had all or most of the gifts. He was converted and called well after Christ had ascended. Jesus says to all believers, that we can do the things He did [John 14:12]. If He wasn't meaning all believers, then He wouldn't have inspired people to write down His sayings.

I will work an article in this when God allows.

Why does much of the church not understand what is causing many of today's problems? It is because they do not see the underlying problems [Ephesians 6:12, Isaiah 33:19]. Why do they not see the problems? It is because they are not approved of God [II Timothy 2:15, II Peter 1:20 ]. In Peter, the word private is from the Greek idios, meaning one's own.

When the Lord tells you or impresses upon your mind to do something, or to refrain from doing something, DO IT! Do not let anyone, including another brethren, deter you from it, not by verbal message nor by sign. If God changes His mind and doesn't want you to do so, HE will let you know.
Make sure it is the Lord wanting you to do it, laying out a fleece if you have to [Judges 6:36-40].
When we let someone deter us, even if they say they speak in the name of the Lord, we will get at least chastened by the Lord, and it could mean total disaster for us, as well as for the person(s) we are sent to. Even some prophets of the Lord go astray [I Kings 13:6-26]. Sometimes the Lord uses other brethren to test us, to see if we will let ourselves be deceived.
